as you've probably noticed, the ComboGib server is down. Today i received a mail by gameservers.com staff:

Hello,
The machine your server is on has suffered a hardware failure. The data is unrecoverable, due to the hard drive failing. We are currently working to set up your server on a new machine, but the IP will stay the same. We will also issues a 5 day credit for the inconvenience automatically.
You will get an e-mail cone the server has been installed. We expect this to take several hours before it will be completed.
This means that we will probably be offline for atleast a day. I have to re-setup the server, fortunately I've a daily backup system of the config files due to problems in the past.
I will update you guys here when there are any news

UPDATE: Gameservers.com staff has brought the machine back online. I will set the server up tomorrow morning so expect it to be back by tomorrow afternoon
UPDATE 2: Due to some problems on gameservers.com site i wasn't able to set up the server today, therefore we got a delay of one day and i ll set it up tomorrow

The UrS team proudly announce their new NormalWeapons Grapple Server!
There has been some requests to add the NW mode to our ComboServer, but instead, with the generous sponsering of Wolfxan, we now have a stand-alone server!
The mods are pretty much the same as on the ComboGib server, but this server also features ZeroPing for the one-shot weapons (enforcers, shockrifle, sniper)!
So, what are you waiting for, this is the IP you have to remember:

You can view the current maplist of the server in this thread. New map suggestions are also welcome!

UrS proudly announces their newest deal!
The National Team League will be a divison formed of national teams
that are playing against each other.
Every player is allowed to take part in the league. He just has to formulate
his application and post it on the official National Team League Application forum!
Every player automatically applies for the National Team of his country.
If you want to apply, please do it this way:
Your UT nickname: (you must have this nickname in league games!)
Your country:
How to contact you:
(for example via email/msn/via PM on www.unrealriders.de/ irc channel UrS)
If you want to take part in our league but your country does not
have a national team ye), you are allowed to form a national team yourself.
Anyway, please contact Rey/Magoz/Israel Kujman before! If you are the only
active player from your country, you can still participate by
being in the official Euro-Team. (Contact Rey/Kujman/Spain Magoz for this, too).

Some important rules:
-4on4, 3 maps, 1 chosen by each team, 1 mutual (more information comming soon)
-a national team consists of minimum 4 players and maximum 8 team players
-every team has an own clantag: [country] (example: [GER] )
-if a national team is full (max. 8 players), you are allowed to create a new one!)
-each national team has an official team leader who has to organize his team,
be active, decides about who plays, creates his own national team player list!
-every national team has an own team list (4-8 players). Just those players written
on it are allowed to play!
